Hands-On Training for Sustainable Livelihoods

EATBETA works to drastically improve the physical and spiritual welfare of rural farming communities by equipping individuals with practical, modern skills. We collaborate closely with local community and faith leaders, utilizing these trusted relationships as the perfect conduit to introduce tailored educational programs.

Our hands-on workshops and training modules are designed to move families from subsistence farming to abundance, giving them the tools to enhance their own livelihoods in a sustainable, resilient manner.

Diverse Skills for Holistic Growth

To achieve a lasting structural impact, EATBETA offers a wide array of training courses focused on both agricultural mastery and practical, everyday trades:

Agricultural Transformation: Farmers learn profitable crop and livestock management techniques, climate-smart farming practices, crop diversification, and how to maximize available natural resources efficiently.

Value-Addition & Technical Skills: We train individuals in farm-harvest processing to minimize post-harvest losses and boost household income.

Complementary Vocations: Participants can acquire vital community trades such as welding, carpentry, sewing, weaving, pottery, bricklaying, and beekeeping.

Fieldwork Opportunities for Tomorrow’s Leaders

A cornerstone of our training model is our annual summer mission program, which mobilizes a diverse international network of volunteers. We actively solicit and welcome university students, business professionals, healthcare workers, clergy, and educators to share their expertise.

EATBETA has established vital partnerships with both local African universities and prominent US-based institutions, such as North Carolina A&T University. These partnerships provide invaluable fieldwork opportunities for student volunteers to gain hands-on, cross-cultural experience while providing supervised training to rural farmers. Participating students may also qualify for extra course credit through their home institutions.
